7Cs of Retail Consumables
Retail consumables are essential to store operations, yet they are often managed as an administrative function rather than a strategic business priority. The 7Cs of Retail Consumables was developed to help retail leaders identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and minimise waste through a more structured approach to consumables management.
Acopia commissioned the creation of a thought leadership campaign that would bring the framework to life through a strong visual identity and a series of engaging, educational resources.
The project began with the design of a dedicated 7Cs of Retail Consumables logo, creating a recognisable brand for the initiative. A series of seven thought leadership articles was then produced, each focusing on a specific discipline within the framework. The corporate colour palette was used to assign a distinct colour to each article, supported by the development of a bespoke 7Cs Wheel that demonstrated how the seven elements work together as a complete consumables management strategy.
Each article was designed as a downloadable digital publication for use on the Acopia website and for email distribution. The full series was also compiled into a professionally designed 48-page printed guide, providing retailers with a practical reference tool while strengthening Acopia's position as a thought leader in the sector.
